Playing on home turf, the Taft girls golf team found themselves in a familiar spot Monday when they finished second to Bakersfield Christian in a South Sequoia League tournament at Buena Vista Golf Club.
Overall, the Lady Wildcats finished with a round 526 compared to the Lady Eagles 503.
Raegan Sorensen shot the lowest round of the day for the Lady Wildcats with a 90. Arizona Pilgrim followed with a 99 while Kayla Kaszycki chipped in with a 108.
In the standings, Taft is currently second eight points behind Bakersfield Christian.
