Paws in the Park is back this Saturday morning at Veterans Memorial Park on East Kern Street.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The third Paws in the Park will a funraising and fundraising family event that will raise money for Unity Thrift Animal Rescue, an tax-exempt, all-volunteer group dedicated to helping pets and their families.
A big attraction will be vouchers available for pet owners that need their do or cat spayed or neutered.
Kern County Supervisor David Couch and the City of Taft will have 50 vouchers worth $80 to cover the cost of having pets fixed for residents of Taft or the surrounding unincorporated areas.
There will be 13 available for Maricopa residents.
In addition, Couch has arranged for a Kern County Animal Control officer to attend Paws in the Park.
There will be pet-related vendors, entertainment, raffles and more.
