United Way to come to Taft for "community conversation"

United Way of Kern County is partnering with the Kern County Library to offer community conservations in the branch libraries countywide.

Public libraries are the perfect place to bring people, information, and ideas together to enrich lives and build communities.

The public is invited to attend a meeting at the Taft Branch, 27 Cougar Court (formerly Emmons Park Drive) on Tuesday (Nov. 5) at 12 p.m.

Communities discover what they care about through conversation and can generate action for positive change. Local residents are invited to participate in these community conversations to build strong communities in the areas of education, income & health.
