Freeze warnings go into effect at midnight. There's a chance of rain and snow showers Friday night and Saturday
The weather turned cold Tuesday evening into Wednesday, and its going to get colder yet by the end of the week.
In fact, freeze warnings have been issued and there's even a slight, slight chance of a snow shower late Friday or early Saturday morning.
This morning's low in Taft was 37 degrees, but its going to be even colder tomorrow.
The National Weather Service is predicting a low of 33 for Taft, so its going to be even colder. Widespread frost is predicted, and there is a freeze warning in effect from midnight Wednesday through 10 a.m. Friday.
Lows Thursday night will be at least as cold as tonight.
Highs on Thursday and Friday will only be in the mid 40s.
Friday night is not expected to be quite as cold as cloud cover moves in, but there will be a slight – 30 percent chance – of showers, and even a slight chance of snow showers after 10 p.m.
The cold, showery weather continues Saturday with a chilly daytime high of 44 and a 40 percent chance of rain or snow showers.
