Awaiting her arrival in Heaven were her husbands, Rev. Thomas G. Monte and Rev. Robert W. Veale and her sisters, Rev. Beulah Jean Matkin and Rev. Sue MacConnaghey.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Ernest L. Freeman, her daughter, Linda R. Wallace and her son, William D. Monte, Sr, PhD. Her grandchildren, Raughn D. Ramirez (Malcom), Monte S. Lisa was instrumental in so many coming to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and always pressed forward with The Great Commission to let all those she came in contact with know how to be saved and have eternal life. She and her husband, Thomas built numerous churches throughout the states of California and Texas, where they also travelled the Evangelistic Field spreading The Word of God. She was truly a “Spiritual Mother” to many. Lisa was an ordained minister through the Pentecostal Church of God organization for many years through which she was the pastor of numerous churches throughout Southern California. Some of her last services were held locally in Derby Acres and Maricopa.
One word was consistently used when describing Lisa that word was Classy. Always “Dressed to the Nines” she stood out in the crowd where her natural charisma would draw many to her where she would use the opportunity to tell them all about The Lord.
Please join the family as we celebrate Lisa’s life on Saturday, December 7, 2013 with a viewing beginning at 11:00 am immediately followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Viewing and service to be held at Lori Family Mortuary, 1150 4th Street, Taft, CA. Private burial will be held at a later date.
