Event will take place Saturday, Dec.21

The start of the baseball season is still three months away and the weather conditions might be too cold to play on a regular basis, but the West Side Recreation and Park District will teach the game of baseball with a clinic Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Monty Reedy Baseball Field.

Taft High baseball coaches and players will teach the core fundamentals of the game.

Players will need to bring their glove, bat, cleats, baseball pants and shirt/sweat shirt. Shirts will be given at the conclusion of the clinic.
The clinic is open to boys and girls between the ages of 6-12 years old. The cost is $20 per person.

Check in starts at 9:30 a.m. with the clinic starting at 10 a.m.

The registration deadline is Thursday, Dec.19 at 5 p.m.

For more information about the clinic, contact 763-4246.
