Live nativity, Christmas Play, Truxton Mile, Christmas home tour to name a few

This weekend is the Annual Soroptimist Home Tour, Luncheon, and Fashion Show. Several downtown businesses will be open on Saturday offering special sales and discounts for all of your holiday shopping needs.

Truxton Mile will be performing at the luncheon and show at the West Side Believer's Fellowship and then go to Old's Cool from 2-4 p.m. to sign copies of their new CD.

Free events - Friday and Saturday night, the West Hills Church of the Nazarene is hosting the annual drive-thru Nativity from 7 to 9 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday at 6 p.m., the First Baptist Church and First Assembly of God are putting on a Christmas musical called "I'll be Home for Christmas" held at the First Baptist Church.

On Monday, Dec. 16 from 4 to 6 p.m., Assemblywoman Shannon Grove invites the public to the celebrate the holidays in her Christmas Open House, being held at her office at 4900 California Ave, Suite 100B.
