  • Kern County Sheriff's Rural Crimes Unit investigators are looking into two thefts and a case of vandalism on the Westside.
    A 1980 Komatsu D375A bulldozer was vandalized while parked at a job site located in the 1900 block of Midoil Road. If you have any information regarding this vandalism please contact Detective Ryan Greer at (661) 392-4368 or e-mail Greerr@kernsheriff.com. Refer to case #SR14-01373.
    Two Group 31 pumping unit batteries and 300 gallons of clear diesel were stolen from an unlocked company yard located in the 31500 block of South Lake Road.     Twenty-four tractor weights similar to this photograph were stolen from a
    John Deere tractor while parked in the 14700 block of Pieri Road. The weights have “Lawrence Tractor” stamped on the casing, also green in color. Contact Greer if you have any information regarding this case.
