  • Today in the News: Former Mayor Ray Nagin guilty of corruption

    Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin was found guilty today of corruption. The mayor, who was at the helm of New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit, was found guilty of 20 of 21 counts against him. Nagin left office in 2010 after two terms as mayor.

When I've heard it said that it was targeted, I thought, well, they must have targeted the wrong person." - Ken Caldwell, friend of retired lawyer John Setzer, who was killed by a package bomb in Tennessee, according to CNN. Setzer, 74, opened a package Monday and died after it exploded. The FBI, Homeland Security, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and U.S. postal workers are investigating the incident.
