There will be a Bantam and Juniors division
There are a number of activities that go on during the spring season. The West Side Recreation and Park District is adding another one to the list later this month with the Youth Bowling League at the West Side Lanes.
The Youth Bowling League is a 12 week league sanctioned by the United States Bowling Congress and is open to those between the ages of 10-21 years old. There are two divisions-Bantam for those 10 years and younger and Juniors for those between the ages of 11-21.
Bowlers must purchase a USBC card for $17. The cost per bowler for the bantam division is $5 per week while the Juniors division is $6 a week. Shoe rental is included.
The league season begins Monday, March 24 and Tuesday, March 25. The bantams will compete Mondays while Juniors will take part Tuesday. Both will go from 3:30-4:30 p.m., each day.
