There's even a chance of showers off and on through middle of next week
Cooler, unsettled weather is expected for the next several days with a chance of showers starting Saturday.
A couple of weather disturbances will be affecting the area, and the first is going to bring a 40 percent chance to showers to the Taft area Saturday evening along with some breezy conditions.
Winds could gust up to 20 miles per hour Sunday evening.
The cooler weather will drop daytime highs into the 60s and lows will be in the mid to upper 40s through the middle of next week with a chance of showers Monday night and Tuesday.

•Sunday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. North wind 5 to 15 mph.
•Sunday Night – Partly cloudy, with a low around 46. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southwest in the evening.
•Monday – A 20 percent chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 69. West southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the morning.
• Monday Night – A 40 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
•Tuesday – A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 65. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east southeast in the morning.
•Tuesday Night – A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light north in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.
•Wednesday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 66. Calm wind.
