Board President leaving after 14 years

West Side Health Care District Board President Chuck Hagstrom is resigning from the board.

Hagstrom submitted a letter of resignation that will be on the agenda for the board's meeting Thursday night meeting.
The letter was dated April 23 and the resignation is effective on April 30.

Hagstrom has served on he board for 14 years and been board president most of the time.

He gave no reason for the resignation.

“After 14 years on the board I have decided to pursue other opportunities,” he said in a letter submitted Thursday. “April 30 will be my last day as board member. It has been a pleasure to work with everyone associated with the healthcare district.”

Hagstrom is the second resignation in just a few weeks. Sheri Black stepped down and the board appointed Adele Ward to replace her.
