B, Philippine, D, E and F Streets to get blade seals. More work coming on Elk Hills Road, too
Travel is going to be a little more comfortable in much of Taft Heights after some road work this summer.
Fourth District Supervisor David Couch's office announced Thursday that blade seals will be laid down on the entire lengths of D, E, F and Philippine Streets this summer as well as B Street from 10th to Arroyo Street.
“This should make driving easier for motorists traveling these Taft Heights streets,” said Couch aide Mark Salvaggio.
Another project on the West Side is also going to be completed.
Part two of the Elk Hills Road resurfacing project (from Skyline to 1 mile south of the California Aqueduct) should be on track to go out to bid next month with construction to begin in September.
This is a 4.1 mile road project costing $3.2 million.
