Traditional service includes prayer, firing squad and tributes

Taft's traditional Memorial Day Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at West Side District Cemetery.
Gary Summers will be the speaker and the American Legion firing squad will provide the traditional 21-gun salute. Local Cub Scouts will lead the pledge of allegiance
Sponsored by the West Side Cemetery District,  Erickson &Brown Funeral Home and Fellows American Legion Post No. 63, the event will include  and invocation  and  benediction by Steve Williams, floral tributes by local veterans, music from the Lincoln Junior High band, taps from Carlos Tabares and Kylie Cambel and bagpiper Dee Stoller.
