Second suspect is serving two-year prison sentence
A Taft man wanted for nearly six months in connection with a burglary that occurred earlier this year was arrested over the weekend.
Nikolas Stroud Hodges, 24, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on Sunday on the $85,000 warrant and booked into the Kern County Sheriff's Lerdo Pretrial Facility.
He is also being held on a no-bail parole hold.
Stroud was wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred on Jan. 9 in the Taft.
A second man, Bryan Landreth, was arrested shortly after the burglary was committed and subsequently pleaded no contest to first-degree burglary.
Landreth was sentenced to two years in state prison on Jan. 24
Hodges was arraigned Monday in Kern County Superior Court and is due back in court next week for a readiness hearing.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 8.
