Woman charged after Taft Police find 3/1 grams of suspected methamphetamine
Taft Police arrested a woman on drug dealing charges Sunday afternoon.
Officers conducted a probation search at the home of Susana Archuleta, 43, on the 500 block of Fifth Street.
During the search, Lt. Pete Aranda said, officers located approximately 3.1 grams of suspected methamphetamine that had been divided and packed into several individual bindles along with other items “consistent with the sales of narcotics.”
Archuleta is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for sale, according to Kern County Superior Court records.
She is being held in the Kern County Sheriff's central receiving facility.
She was also remanded into custody for two prior convictions for petty theft and one each for making a false report to a peace officer and resisting or obstructing an officer.
Her total bail is $42,000.
Her next court appearance is Aug. 22.
