Victim ejected when car rolls early Tuesday
A single-vehicle accident on Highway 119 left a Lamont man with severe head injuries early Tuesday.
The California Highway Patrol said the victim, Tailee Sattouf, 27 of Lamont, was thrown from his Honda after it veered off the highway just east of Interstate 5 at 2:20 a.m.
Sattouf was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected as the 2005 Honda rolled, the CHP said in a news release.
He was found about 75 feet from the car, which landed on its wheels.
He was airlifted to Kern Medical for treatment.
Alcohol is a possible factor in the crash, the CHP said.
The cause is still under investigation.
