A Bakersfield man has died from his injuries suffered when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle in Taft Monday night.
Steven Mason, 22, died in the emergency room at Kern Medical Center at 9:29 p.m., the Kern County Sheriff-Coroner reported.
Mason was riding a Honda motorcycle eastbound on Kern Street  about 8 p.m. when it collided with a  vehicle making a left turn from Eighth Street onto Kern, Taft Police Sgt. Pete Aranda said.
Mason, who was wearing a helmet, was treated at the scene then rushed to KMC, where he died 90 minutes later.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
