Deputies conduct probation search and seize 39 grams of meth, brass knuckles and more, KCSO says

Kern County Sheriff's deputies conducting a probation search in Maricopa arrested a man and seized more than an ounce of methamphetamine, illegal weapons and illegal fireworks last weekend.

Sgt. Kevin George said deputies did the search on July 8 at a home in the 400 block of Adeline Street.
He said they located 39 grams of methamphetamine plus brass knuckles and nunchakus and illegal fireworks.

Deputies also found several scales and a notebook with sales entries, George said.

Jack Fultz, 53 was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, two counts of possession of illegal weapons and possession of illegal fireworks.

Fultz is being held on $20,000 bail.
