Suspect wanted for parole violation had nearly an ounce of crystal, Taft Police say.

Taft Police serving an arrest warrant on a woman in Taft Heights ended up with another major drug seizure Tuesday.

Officer found nearly an ounce of crystal methamphetamine, plus liquid meth, heroin and other items

Police and Sheriff's deputies went to 331 D Street about 10:45 p.m. to serve the warrant on Nura Chacon, 41.

Officers found Chacon in the driveway of the residence.

Subsequent to her arrest, according to a new release, officers located 25 grams of the crystal meth, 40 cc of liquid meth, 8 grams of heroin and other items indicative of drug use and sales.

Chacon was taken into custody and later transferred to the Kern County Jail where she is being held without bail for violation of parole.

She now faces two counts of possession of narcotics and controlled substances for sale, possession of a controlled substance and disobeying a court order.
