Vincent Moroyoqui being held without bail in deaths of Raeleen and Raegan Sorensen
Two counts of second degree murder were filed against the man accused of a drunk driving crash that killed Raeleen and Raegan Sorensen last week.
Vincent Moroyoqui was arraigned on Monday in Kern County Superior Court on the murder counts as well as two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter.
He pleaded not guilty to all counts.
He is not scheduled to be back in court until Sept. 18.
His preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 19.
Moroyoqui, who is represented by Bakersfield attorney Daniel Torres, is being held without bail.
He is accused of driving drunk and on Highway 119 about 5:40 p.m. on July 23.
The California Highway Patrol said Moroyoqui was eastbound on Highway 119 west of Buena Vista Road when he went into the westbound lanes to pass a row of cars.
His pickup truck collided head-on with a small car driven by Raeleen Sorenson, 51.
Reagan, 20, was a front seat passenger.
Funeral services for the pair are pending at Greenlawn Funeral Home Southwest.
