Pressure washer, tools, fuel taken
The Kern County Sheriff's Rural Crimes Investigations Unit is investigating more oilfield thefts in the Fellows, McKittrick and Belridge areas.
Here are the latest:
Between August 7 at 7 a.m. and Aug. 11 at 8 a.m., unknown suspects stole a Honda pressure washer from a storage unit owned by an oil company located in the 20000 block of Contractors Road. On Aug. 9 at 3:30 a.m., it was reported that someone cut the fence to an oil related business located in the 200 block of Mocal Road and stole numerous tools, including a Ridgid line finder in a yellow box, a Makita cordless drill, and impact wrench. Between Aug. 8 at 2 p.m. and Aug. 10 at 9:50 a.m., unknown suspects stole 50 gallons of DEF (diesel exhaust fluid), 80 gallons of diesel fuel and two 12 volt pumps from an oilfield located near Franco Western Road and Reward Road. Contact Brunsell with any information. Refer to case #2017-01098823.
