Seminar will provide students, young professionals and young adults with foundational financial tips and strategies
Assemblyman Vince Fong will host a free financial literacy seminar in partnership with the Bakersfield Young Professionals, which is a program within the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce. This seminar’s objective is to provide students, young professionals and young adults with foundational financial tips and strategies.
“I remember how important it was to get an early start on my retirement savings and understanding the implications of managing credit,” said Assemblyman Fong. “I believe setting up a financial security plan is one of the best investments we can make out of the gate so I wanted to provide a free opportunity to ensure our young adults are prepared for their future.”
The seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, September 27th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce- 1725 Eye Street. Speakers include Pritesh Patel, VP—Branch Manager with Valley Republic Bank and Shane Bryan, a personal financial strategies specialist with Trovato Wealth Management.
