RCIU seeks help finding suspects
Detectives from the Kern County Sheriff's Rural Crimes Investigations Unit are seeking the public's help in finding the people responsible for a vandalism and theft from a local business in early November.
The RCIU reported that sometime between Nov. 2 at 4:30 p.m. and Nov. 6 at 6:15 a.m, unknown suspects cut the fence to an oil related business storage area located near Highway 33 and Cadet Road, and stole numerous tools, including grinding machines, an 11-inch copper torch, an 18-inch copper torch and approximately 150 feet of copper wire.
