Truck, trailer, tools and battery also taken

Thieves have been targeting copper wire in the oilfields of western Kern County in April, but they've also taken a truck, tools, trailer and other items.
The Kern County Sheriff's Rural Crimes Investigations Unit is seeking the public's help solving these crimes
Here is the latest report:
•On April 4, between midnight and 7:50 a.m., unknown suspects stole a white 2014 Ford F150 pickup and a tool box containing miscellaneous hand tools from an oil company’s storage yard  in the 25000 block of Western Minerals Road. The vehicle was later recovered on April 8 minus the tool box and tools. •Between 10 a.m. on April 2 and  3 p.m. April 3 , unknown suspects stole a white 2012 Brock’s utility trailer containing three spools of copper wire from an oil lease located in the 3600 block of Reward Road. The trailer is 15 to 17 feet in length, bearing California plate #4MJ1205 and VIN #1B9UP152XCB632341. The three spools of wire contained approximately 1500 feet in copper wire consisting of two 630-foot spools of conductor “4 OTT” and one 250-foot spool of “2 OTT” wire. •On April 4 it was reported that on March 12, between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m., someone stole two spools of copper wire and some channel iron from an oil lease located in the 1000 block of Lincoln Street. Contact Brunsell  if you have any information. Refer to case #2018-0005100.
•Between5 p.m. April 5  and 5:30 a.m. April 6, unknown suspects damaged the fence and an electronic gate to an oil lease located in the 200 block of Mocal Road, causing approximately $1,500 in damage. Contact Brunsell with any information. Refer to case #2018-00051953.
•Sometime between 3 p.m. April 5 and  hours and April 10 at 7:30 a.m., someone stole a 12-volt battery and a large box fan from a trailer located on an oil lease off Highway 33 approximately one mile north of Maricopa. Contact Brunsell with any information. Refer to case #2018-00054269.
