Sons of the Sixties will be performing at Fifth Street Plaza Friday night

The Taft Rails To Trails Car Show is back where it belongs - on Rails to Trails.
The popular event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the venue that gave it its name.

More than 100 vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles will be on display along with many vendors selling everything from food, sno-cones, and other snacks to arts and crafts and shorts.

There will also be a bounce house for the kids and a DJ on the stage for musical entertainment.

The vehicles will be on display up and down Rails to Trails roughly between Fifth and Eighth streets.

The fun will actually begin the night before with a special version of Taft's monthly First Friday Cruise Night.

Presented by the Downtown Merchants, the Friday night pre-party runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with live music at the Fifth Street Plaza from Taft's very own Sons of the Sixties.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle (tickets are $1 each or $20 for an arms length) at 8:45 p.m. with proceeds going to fund downtown improvements and marketing.

And, of course there will be cruising up and down Center Street.
