Shots and licenses available from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Kern County Animal Services will be holding a low-cost vaccination and microchip clinic at the Ford City Park on Saturday.

Dog and cat owners can get their pets vaccinated and dog owners can get licenses from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Microchips for dogs and cats are just $15 each.

For dogs, rabies vaccinations are $10 for pets belonging to people who live in unincorporated areas of Kern County.

Canine flu and DHPP shots are $10 each.
For cats, rabies and FVRCP shots are $10 and a cat license is $5.
Dog license fees are as follows:

•Altered dogs: $15 for a once-year license and $30 for a three-year license.

•Natural dogs: $60 for a one-year license and $120 for a three-year license.

All dogs must be on a leash and aggressive dogs must be muzzled.
Cats must be in a cat carrier.
