Solar equipment, air conditioner stolen

Two more oilfield thefts are under investigation by the Kern County Sheriff's Rural Crimes Investigations Unit.

Here's the latest:

•Unknown suspects broke into a storage building on an oil lease near Franco Western Road and Reward Road between midnight and 8 a.m. on July 19and stole a white 20” x 30” Goodman brand air conditioning unit. •On Aug. 14 between 1:45 a.m. and 7 a.m. suspects stole a solar battery and electric wire from an oil lease located near Airport Road and Hwy 199. If anyone has any information about this investigation contact Brunsell. Refer to case #2018-00128585.

•Detectives are also seeking information about a suspicious person in the Belridge area.

On August 12 at 7 a.m., a heavy set white male subject, driving a silver Mercedes Benz four door sedan with oversized chrome wheels, was involved in suspicious behavior at an oil lease near W. Lokern Road in Lost Hills. If anyone has any information about this subject or the suspect vehicle, contact Brunsell. Refer to case #2018-00128061.
