Devlyn Ray was convicted of attack at Pilot Plaza in July
A Taft man convicted of armed robbery from an attack in early July has been sentenced to five years in state prison.
Devlyn Thailor Ray was arrested by Taft Police on July 8 at Pilot Plaza and charged with taking property from the victim by force while armed with a knife.
Ray pleaded no contest to second degree robbery at preliminary hearing on July 20.
He was sentenced last week, a month after he failed to appear at his original sentencing hearing.
Ray, 30, will begin serving his sentence at Wasco State Prison.
He will receive credit for 46 days time served — 40 days actually served and six days good time.
