Suspect caught on Tenth, will be charged with violating restraining order
Taft Police arrested a man near Tenth and San Emidio Streets Monday afternoon following a brief foot chase.
Police first got a call about 3 p.m. of a man acting strangely and looking into cars in the area.
Sgt. Ray Buford said police received a second call was from a woman who said the suspect, later identified as Adam Henderson, was banging on her vehicle and she had a restraining order.
After a short search, officers located Henderson on Tenth near Irene Street.
He began running but was arrested a short distance away by police and Kern County Sheriff's deputies.
He was going to be booked on charges resisting arrest and violating a restraining order.
