RCIU investigating theft in Crocker Springs area

The Kern County Sheriff's Rural Crimes Investigations Unit is looking into a theft in western Kern County.
Here's the latest report:

• Sometime between Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. and Oct. 13 at 5:45 a.m., unknown suspects forced entry to oilfield vehicles while they were parked in the 3000 block of West Crocker Springs Road in Fellows and took numerous tools.
The stolen items consisted of a Dewalt drill bag containing the drill, bits, two welding torches, one acetylene welding tank, a welding hose, and other miscellaneous hand tools. Contact Detective Casey Brunsell at 661-392-4370 or BrunsellC@kernsheriff.org
