August 27, 1966 - January 7, 2018

Andrew “Andy” Flint Renfro, 51, passed away on January 7, 2018 in Gilbert, Arizona. Andy was born on August 27, 1966 in Taft, California, graduated from Taft Union High School in 1984, and enjoyed working for Western Well for a few years immediately after.  Andy had a reputation for being a funny and fun-loving soul, which got him into trouble more than once, but he was a skilled charmer with a soft heart who genuinely enjoyed people and earned many friends.  He also loved being outdoors, on the water or in it, fishing, driving anything fast, and visits to Morro Bay.  While Andy spent his first forty years in his hometown of Taft, he spoke of his last ten years in Arizona as his “good years;” living them with a focus on service to his faith, family and new friends.  His work in the LDS Church Cannery in Mesa, Arizona, was a highlight of his life as he often spoke of its inspirational culture and his affection for the good folks that worked there. Above all else, Andy loved spending time with his family, particularly his nine nieces and nephews who will dearly miss their Uncle Andy’s antics and advice. Andy is survived by his brother, Tim (Judy) Renfro, and three sisters: Sharon (Will) Todd, Susan (Blair) Butterfield, and Laura Renfro.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Geraldine Renfro, brother, Patrick Renfro, and sister, Ann Marie Hamblin.  Viewing will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 1:30-2:30pm at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home followed by graveside services at 3:00pm at the Westside Cemetery.
