A funeral service will be held in the Bakersfield National Cemetery located at 30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin, CA 93203 on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 1:15 p.m. for Maricopa resident, Craig “Mac” MacCallum, 62. Rev. Tom White will officiate at the service. Mac was born in Glendale on August 14, 1949 and passed away in Bakersfield on January 18, 2012. He was raised and educated in Maricopa and graduated from Maricopa High School in 1968. After graduation he immediately entered the U.S. Coast Guard. Mac enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reva MacCallum and his father, Walter MacCallum. Mac is survived by his mother, Betty MacCallum of Maricopa; his daughter, Donna Jean MacCallum; his step-children, Sabrina, Marina, and Yolanda; his brother and his wife, Darrell and Belena MacCallum; his two sisters, Bonnie Wilson and Annette Ormond and her husband, Marty; and by his several nieces and nephews. There are no visitation hours scheduled and the arrangements are under the direction of the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
