AGLOW; Prayer Request and Guest Speaker Jeanette Poteete
Its that time again, friends. AGLOW time. But before I introduce our very special speaker I ask that you would keep Judy Leonard and her family in your prayers. For those of you that know her; she is the President of AGLOW , but she is also a longtime resident of Taft. She attends First Assembly of God, and her husband; Jack Leonard, is a local CPA. Judy’s youngest grand-daughter (16) was killed in a horrible boating accident in Alaska last week. She and Jack have gone to Alaska to be with their family during this very difficult time. Please keep them all in your prayers. There were a total of 5 people in the accident with one other person dying as well. It is a horrible tragedy and prayers are appreciated. Thank you. Jeanette Poteete; Jeanette was raised in Taft and she attended Taft Schools and also attended Taft First Assembly before moving. Jeanette and her husband now live in Bakersfield. Jeanette is an ordained minister on staff at Bakersfield First Assembly. She has taught Bible studies, has worked as the coordinator for the Healing Prayer Room, and has been a missionary to Columbia. Her message is sure to be inspiring so plan to join us for this great time fellowship and ministry. Come and hear first hand what Jeanette has to share. We will be starting with dessert type refreshments at 6 p.m. Meeting will be starting shortly thereafter. This will allow for more ministry and prayer time for the speaker. Come and be blessed!
