The Burroughs gymnastics team placed second at the Moore League Finals May 4 at Lakewood High School, finishing with 155.625 points.
Millikan High School finished first overall with 173.85, and Wilson was third with 152.5.
“We increased our score from preview (by) over 10 points, which was great and a huge testament to the girls’ hard work,” said Burroughs head coach Cheryl Roquemore.
Burroughs freshman Isabelle Roquemore, and sophomores Renee Bradford and Saralynn McEntee earned all-league honors.
Isabelle Roquemore (third) and sophomore Renee Bradford (fourth) earned top honors all-around. On bars, Isabelle Roquemore finished first, Saralynn McEntee fourth, and Renee Bradford fifth. On vault, Bradford earned medal finishing fourth. On floor, Isabelle Roquemore finished second and McEntee sixth.
