Twenty-three fall semester Taft College athletes have been named to the Central Valley Conference academic all-conference team.
The award is based on academic excellence. Student athletes must have earned a grade point average of 3.0 (B) or above in at least 12 units of credit coursework to qualify.
Women’s soccer: Danielle Fitzgerald, Stephany Foster, Crystal Ah Sam, Keryn Nield, Jessica Sanchez, Laura Cornejo and Nora Perez.
Men’s soccer: Ever DeLeon, Miguel Guillen, Sergio Cedano, Noel Lopez, Ricardo Sandoval and Jiovany Almanza.
Volleyball: Michelle Hardy, Kelcey Vilamu, Nicole Gummersall and Tina Pulu.
Women’s basketball: Baylee Day, Christine Taylor, Jasmine Green, Maryssa Reyes, Crystal Clark and Yeni Sandoval.
