Expensive controllers still being stolen
There's a $10,000 reward out for their capture, but thieves continue to steal expensive oilfield programmers from locations around the Westside.
Three more sites have been hit in recent days, the Kern County Sheriff's Rural Crimes Unit reported.

Here is a rundown of the most recent thefts:
•An undetermined number of PLC programmers were stolen from two control panels located in the area of Broadway and Mocal Road. Refer to case #SR11-13125. •A PLC programmer was stolen from a pump located in a secure area near A Street and Midoil Road. Refer to case #SR11-13141.
•Four PLC programmers were stolen from a control panel located west of McKittrick on Reserve Road. The programmers are further described as: One SISCO/IE-3000, one Allen Bradley/1756L61, one ProSoft/MV156-MCM, and one Allen Bradley/1756ENBT.
