Burned-out houses on Naylor, Lierly will be the first to go starting Friday

Demolitions on two South Taft homes are going to start soon Supervisor David Couch's office announced.

Mark Salvaggio, an aide to the 4th District Supervisor, said crew are expected to start demolishing fire damaged structures at 207 Naylor Street and 117 Lierly Avenue.

Work was originally planned to start on Friday, but that has been delayed until the middle of next week.

"These properties pose public and health safety issues for the people of South Taft," Salvaggio said.

"They also impact property values of other homes in the area."
