Tools, equipment even coffee pot stolen

For the second week in a row, the Kern County Sheriff's Rural Crimes investigations Unit is looking ro a stolen pickup from the Westside Oilfields.

A white 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, California License #8E50422, was stolen from a company yard located in the 25300 block of Western Minerals Road in the Maricopa area. Thieves also hit an oil rig located near 25 Hill Road and vandalized it in addition to stealing a variety of tools and supplies.

Numerous items, including five metal gas cans, 25 gallons of gasoline, two boxes of white spray paint in cans, two Rigid 36” wrenches, two Rigid 24” wrenches, and one coffee pot were stolen. The unknown suspects also cut the elbow fitting to a brake line and cut the grease line to the equipment.
