Highway 33 and Highway 166 could be impacted
A flash flood warning has been issued for the Cuyama Valley and Highway 33 and Highway 166 could be impacted.
The warning was issued just before noon by the National Weather Service
Here is the text of the warning:
“At 11:45 a.m. PDT...Doppler radar indicated a nearly stationary thunderstorm producing heavy rain near Big Pine mountain capable of producing flash flooding.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...Highway 33 from Lockwood Valley road to the Santa Barbara County Line...Big Pine mountain...and Highway 166 in the the Cuyama Valley...”
