February 2, 1935-December 4, 2015
Don went to be with the Lord while surrounded by his family at his home in McKittrick, Ca. In 1974, after serving in the military and spending years working pipeline in the Midwest, Don and his family moved to Taft, California, where he spent many years working in the oil industry. His passion for animals kept him surrounded by horses and dogs most of his life. There isn’t much more that he enjoyed in this world than sitting around his dining room table with his family, peering out at his ranch and horses. He was hardworking and faith driven. His family is blessed with a lifetime of memories that they will find comfort in until they are reunited in heaven.
Don is survived by his wife Peggy Barlow, siblings Imogene Todd and Maxine Bellmeir, children Kathy and Sam Williams, Rhonda Ryan, Donald and Cheryl Barlow, Kim and Greg Tremain, along with ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. His father and mother precede him to death.
Until we meet again husband, dad, brother, and papa.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 630 Kern Street, Taft, CA 93268.
