Ridgecrest Addiction Awareness is prepping for its annual Christmas dinner for the homeless and displaced in Ridgecrest.
This event is a community event organized by Ridgecrest Addiction Awareness so the community can help the homeless and displaced in Ridgecrest.
This year the Ridgecrest Elks Lodge 201 E. Church St., will host the dinner on Dec. 23 from 2-5 p.m.
According to RRA, “we are doing it a little different then we have in the past years.”
This year RRA will ask every family that wants to can help by making a pot of soup and come serve it to the people at the dinner.
It doesn’t matter what kind of soup you make just put it in something to keep it warm and bring it to serve. If your family wants to make a soup and serve it please let me know.
If people are not able to make a soup and serve it we also need help with other things like desserts, drinks, hygiene products, bowls, cups, plastic ware, toys for the kids and volunteers.
Let RRA know what area you would like to help in as “we couldn’t do this without your support.”
Call RRA at 760-608-4099 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
