Another academic year has just about come and gone, and schools all across Indian Wells Valley are preparing for their graduation ceremonies.

Immanuel Christian School doesn’t have graduating seniors this year, but they’ll hold their kindergarten graduation on Tuesday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. at their Worship Center at 201 W Graaf Avenue, and then their 8th grade promotion at Wednesday, May 23 at the same graduation time, same graduation place.

Sierra Sands Adult School will hold their graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 24 at 6 p.m. at the Parker Performing Arts Center on the Burroughs High School campus at 500 French Avenue.

Saint Ann School will hold their 8th grade promotion on Friday, May 25 at 10:30 a.m. at the school at 446 W. Church Avenue.

James Monroe Middle School and Murray Middle School will have their promotion ceremonies on Thursday, May 31 at the Kerr McGee Center at 100 W. California Avenue. James Monroe’s ceremony will go first at 7:30 a.m., with Murray’s following at 10 a.m.

Ridgecrest Charter School will hold their kindergarten graduation on May 31 at 9 a.m. at the Desert Christian Center at 100 E. Bataan Avenue in Ridgecrest. Their 8th grade promotion ceremony will be at 5:30 p.m., same day and same place.

Mesquite High School will also join that ceremony-full day by holding their graduation on Thursday, May 31 at 6:30 p.m. at the school at 140 W. Drummond Avenue.

The Burroughs High School graduation will take place on Friday, June 1 at 8 p.m. on the Burroughs football field at 500 French Avenue. The Burroughs graduation requires tickets.

According to a memo from BHS, each graduating senior has eight free tickets reserved for those wishing to attend. These tickets must be picked up by the student’s parents or guardians between May 21 and May 31 at the BHS administration office during business hours between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Families that don’t need 8 tickets can donate their extra tickets back to the office.

Tickets not picked up by 4 p.m. on May 31 will be put into the “extra ticket” file. Extra tickets will be available for purchase for $5 on a first come, first serve bases on June 1 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a max of 4 extra tickets per parent while supplies last. Cash only.

The Opportunities For Learning graduation will take place on Tuesday, June 5 at 6 p.m. at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds 2551 W. Avenue H in Lancaster, California.

Trona High School will close up this whirlwind of a graduation season with its graduation ceremony on Friday, June 8 at 8 p.m. in its gym at 83600 Trona Road in Trona, California.
