Suspect linked to 12 burglaries, some involving wine tasting rooms
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man with connection to Taft for multiple counts of burglary.
Geoffrey Dean Ford, 30 is wanted for 12 counts of burglary to commercial buildings, vehicles and garages, according to a tweet posted Wednesday afternoon.
SLO County Sheriff's Spokesman Tony Cipolla said Ford is linked Ito a series of break-ins at wineries in the area.
He would break-into wine tasting rooms and steal money, but not wines, Cipolla said
Ford's last known address was in Taft, the SLO County Sheriff said, and Taft Police confirmed they have had contact with him in the past.
Ford is featured on the SLO County Sheriff's "Wednesday Most Wanted."
Ford is described as an African American male standing 5-7 and weighing about 160 lbs.
