Forklift batteries stolen on Highway 166
Kern Country Sheriff's Rural Crimes Investigations Unit detectives are asking for the public's help solving two recent burglaries in the area.
•Between July 27 at 3:30 p.m. and July 30 at 5 a.m. unknown suspects broke into an oilfield storage building, in the 29000 block of Highway 33 and stole a hydraulic rod cutter, two SCBAs within their black pelican hard cases, and additional hoses and pedals to the rod cutter.
