Victim struck by SUV on Highway 46

The California Highway Patrol is seeking help finding the suspect responsible for a hit-and run crash that critically injured a pedestrian in Lost Hills Tuesday night.
The CHP said the victim, 26-year-old Manuel Acosta, was crossing Highway 46 in a marked crosswalk at Lost Hills Road at 7:05 p.m. when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle.
Acosta suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Kern Medical.
The suspect vehicle was last seen fleeing northbound on Lost Hills Road from Highway 46.
It is described as a full-size SUV of unknown make and model.
