Man found dead early Friday with trauma to body

Kern County Sheriff's homicide detectives are investigating the death of a McKittrick man.
The victim, who has not been identified, was found in a home on D Street in McKittrick about 2:30 a.m. Friday.
His name has not been released.
According to Kern County Sheriff's Sgt. Kevin George, someone went to the victim's home to check on him and found him.
Medial aid and Sheriff's deputies were called and the subject was found "deceased with some trauma."
Homicide detectives were called and took over the investigation.
No further details have been released.
No arrests have been made.
This would be the fourth homicide in the Taft area this year.
David Ray Steelman, 31 was shot to death on June 13 in South Taft.
A Taft man, Bobby Sherrell, 38, has been charged with first-degree murder in that case. 
On Sept. 19, Antonio Olivas, 45, and Jose De Jesus Ramirez, 33,were shot to death on the 700 block of B Street.
No arrests have been made in that case.
