Michael Trickey is being held without bail
A man was arrested on drug and counterfeiting charges after a probation search in Ford City last week.
Deputies from the Taft Substation went to the home on the 800 block of Pierce Street where Michael Dale Trickey, 47, lives on March 23.
Trickey is on probation, according to the KCSO and is in the electronic monitoring program.
During the search, the KCSO reported finding suspected methamphetamine, suspected steroids, drug paraphernalia, narcotic pills, and items used to produce counterfeit money. Deputies, also, located numerous items suspected to be stolen.
Trickey was arrested and charged with several drug and counterfeiting counts.
He is being held without bail and is charged with attempting to use the false identification of another person, making or possessing counterfeit plates and possession of a controlled substance for sale.
He is also charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale in connection with a case filed by Taft police in 2017, according to the Kern County Sheriff's jail website.
