Firefighters contains blaze after it blackens nine acres

 A brush fire south of Maricopa burned nine acres of grazing land Sunday morning.
The fire broke out near Klipstein Canyon Road about a mile east of Highway 33 at 8:51 a.m.

Three Kern County Fire Department engines and three patrols responded to the fire and had it contained in just over 30 minutes.
There were no injuries.
The cause is still under investigation.

Two arson investigators and Kern County Sheriff's deputies were also dispatched to the scene.
