Merchants plan specials and special shopping event on evening of Nov. 21. Raffle for big screen TC, other prizes too

The Downtown Center Street Merchants Committee will host its Fourth Annual Kickoff to Christmas Champagne & Shopping Event on Thursday, November 21st from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

It's a great time to see Center Street, decorated with its beautiful Christmas lights and decorations to bring out the holiday spirit in Taft. 

Participating merchants will be open extended hours and serving food, desserts, champagne and more.

Many merchants have special activities planned.

There will also be a raffle drawing with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Toys For Taft. Stop by Westside Furniture to see the fabulous prizes and visit participating merchants for tickets for a chance to win one of the flowing prizes:

1st prize - 65" Samsung TV

2nd prize - Recliner - donated by Jon Atherly of Westside Furniture

3rd prize - Party Chair & Ice Chest w/stand - donated by Julie Franks of State Farm Insurance

Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and the drawing will be held at at Westside Furniture at 8 p.m.
